BATHROOM REMODELING

Of all the rooms in your house, bathrooms represent the greatest and fastest return on your remodeling investment.  According to Remodeling Magazine, more than 80 percent of your bathroom remodeling expenses can be recouped within a year of resale.  Not every room in the house offers such a return.  Surprisingly, kitchens are sixth on the list with just over 60 percent of the costs returned.  Only room additions beat bathroom remodeling with returns of over 90%

JPS Construction Services is affiliated with Studio 41 at 2500 North Pulaski, in Chicago.  We normally meet our kitchen and Bathroom customers at this location to select cabinets, faucets, etc.  At Studio 41 we have a dozen full kitchens setup with appliances and plenty of bathroom components that a customer can select from.

Our Bathroom remodeling process begins with the gutting process.  We gut the entire room down to the studs.  Next we replace all old water pipes and replace with new cooper pipes with new valves.  We then insulate all exterior walls, install new electrical pipes – GFCI outlets to avoid electrical shock.  Then we install green board wall boards.  Next we will install new cast iron tubs, glass showers, pedestal or wood cabinets, 2 piece toilets, mirror cabinet light bars, and all the finishing fixtures like towel racks and toilet paper holders.  Finally we prime and paint all surfaces.
